The acceptability of a food unit is the relationship between the number of meals served
and the number of students enrolled and it is classified in four categories: high (above
70 percent), medium (between 50 to 70 percent), low (between 30 to 50 percent) and very
low (bellow 30 percent) (Martins et al., 2004). The degree of acceptance of this
university setting is considered very low, since only 28 percent of the whole university
community attends the food unit.
