A sample (100 g) of natural or artificially inoculated grape
berries were added in a Stomacher bag with filter and homogenized
for 1 min. A volume (30 ml) of the filtrate was collected in falcon
tubes (3 10) and centrifuged at 5000 g for 10 min at 4 C. The
pelletwaswashed with 1ml of Tris10 mM, EDTA 1 mM, centrifuged
at 10,000 g for 10 min at 4 C and washed again with 300 mL of
EDTA (0.5 mM, pH: 8.0). Following centrifugation pellets were
lyophilized overnight and stored at 20 C until DNA extraction.
