We have that node-voltage equations are very useful in the analysis of a variety of circuits. These equations can always be formulated using KCL the element constraints, and the fundamental property of node voltages. When in doubt, always fall back on these principles to formulate node equations in new situations. With practice and experience, however, we eventually develop an analysis approach that allows us to recognize shortcuts in the formulation process.
