Right-click the folder and select properties. Go to the Security tab and click Advanced button For Special Permissions or Advanced Settings. We need to change the owner to control this folder. Follow the link to change owner so it’s no longer TrustedInstaller. A window will appears, Type Administrator in the the big text field, then click the button next to it to Check Names. Windows automatically detects and suggests the administrator account.
Click OK to confirm changes. You will be taken back to the Advanced Security Settings panel.
Now we can do anything to that Microsoft Edge’s folder, we will change the permission. But first, in the first set of info, the one with the Change link, there should now be an option to Replace Owner on Subcontainers and Objects. Make sure it is checked, and press OK.
