Hi,
I visited the Plaza Athenee – a Royal Le Meridien - Hotel in the middle of the exiting Bangkok city. A few days later I decided to take Brunch at the nice-looking ‘Rain Tree’ Restaurant at the hotel with my best friends and family, this was on Sunday 4th May.
It was a wonderful moment with great service and delicious food. The food was so excellent, the service great, and the atmosphere, especially the animation with liquid nitrogen frozen food – and this served on our table – we loved this spectacular food demonstration. The decoration with ice sculptures is stunning. This restaurant is really at the top of ‘fashion food’, maybe next time they will serve some molecular food , or demonstration.
The restaurant staff and waiters, were all amazing, I would like to express in particular my thanks to the excellent service and the culinary staff for making it very special. Also we had a short chat with the F&B manager, a very professional and friendly gentleman, I always appreciate such personalised attentions.
I will return with the family in July and we certainly go back for a Sunday Brunch.
I can’t remember how many different types of food I tasted, certainly I did not yet try everything, and missed some buffets, under such conditions it will be difficult to eat less – anyhow later I dropped in the fitness , but it was just ‘So Good’.
Best regards, Erwin
