TMA were determined using the pH-differential method. Extracts were diluted with buffers (pH 1 or 4.5) and incubated for 30 min at room temperature before absorbances were measured at 520 and 700 nm (Agilent 8453 spectrophotometer, Agilent Technologies). Anthocyanins were quantified as cyanidin-3- glucoside equivalents (mg kg-1) (Giusti & Wrolstad, 2001). Results are expressed on a wet basis for fresh fruit and dry weight for dried fruits.
