Study of efficiency and cost for household health care of Behavior
Modification Village to Reduce Cancer, High Blood Pressure and Cardiovascular
Diseases: A case study of Beang Kradan Village (Moo 3, Tambol Chonglom, Lankrabue
District, Kampangphet Province) was a survey research aimed to examine efficiency
and cost for household health care of Behavior Modification Village to Reduce
Cancer, High Blood Pressure and Cardiovascular Diseases. Populations in this study
were nineteen patients with high blood pressure at Moo 3, Tambol Chonglom,
Lankrabue District, Kampangphet Province who received treatment from Tumbon
Baan Katekasorn Health Promoting Hospital, continuously for at least one year.
Research instruments used for data collection consisted of 1) cost record of health
promotion services, 2) cost record of the service users (a patient interview form),
3) cost record of the service users, 4) record of health conditions, and 5) health
behavior questionnaire for patients with high blood pressure. Data was analyzed by
descriptive statistics using frequency distribution and percentage.
