The recoveries were ascertained by spiking 0.5, and 1 mg/kg of AFB1, AFG1, AFB2,
AFG2; 1 and 2 mg/kg of OTA and ZEN in non-contaminated chicken
meat and eggs as shown in Table 2.
The method has shown good recoveries and all the spiked samples have recoveries in the range of 85e92% with RSD varies from 4 to 11%.
The chromatograms showing the natural occurrence of OTA and ZEN are presented in a Fig. 1.
