Do We Really Understand the Problems We Solve? One of the questions we have been posing recently to clients who are trying to move to selling solutions is, “Where is your problem catalog?” As you might expect, most of the time they’re not sure what we mean; or they think we really meant product catalog. In truth, this is a trick question, because we don’t expect anyone to actually have a problem catalog. The question is meant to jolt people out of their traditional way of thinking.
