Keywords require improvement.
1) Limit yourself to 20 or fewer keywords that closely relate to the depicted subject matter. Buyers expect accurate search results.
2) Disambiguate with care. This level of keyword refinement must also closely and accurately relate to the depicted subject matter. If you are uploading in a language other than English, check that your disambiguation choice has preserved the correct meaning of the word.
3) If you are uploading a batch of files with differences in subject matter, be sure to fine tune each file's keywords (including disambiguation) for accuracy.
-----
Please avoid duplication, too-similar, and excessive serialization. Uploading a vast number of serial shots with little difference between them has no commercial value and is a strain on iStock resources and time. It offers nothing new for potential clients, but it takes up time and resources to inspect, manage, and store this content.
When creating a composite, please do not use individual files already in your portfolio.
++ With that in mind, give careful consideration to the files you choose to resubmit. ++
-----
Please do not use keywords as descriptions.
The description should include how the file was created, its subject, location and any valuable technical information regarding the file that may be helpful to the client who may be interested in purchasing your image.
