Fig. 3(B) plots the effects of reaction temperature and time on
glucose formation. Over the entire reaction time range, the glucose
concentration, like the TRS concentration (see Fig. 3A), increased
with increasing reaction temperature. And with reaction time, it
was increased at temperatures higher than 100 C. Under
the 140 C, 2 h conditions, the highest glucose concentration,
10.5 g/L, was obtained.
