Conclusion
In conclusion, drinking 16 fl oz of fresh carrot juice
daily significantly increased antioxidant status and suppressed
lipid peroxidation without affecting the plasma
cholesterol and triglyceride status. It appears both dietary
and lifestyle change are required to positively alter
lipid profiles in place of increasing fruits or vegetable
serving sizes without comprehensive dietary modifications.
However, future studies are needed to either
refute or validate the results and conclusion of this
study.
