Once there was a Swiss man. His name was William Tell. He was a brave man and he loved justice. He lived in a small village near the mountains
One day the ruler came to the village. Few people were there to see him. He asked where they were. Someone told him that they had their own work to do. This made him very angry. He told his soldiers to bring all the people from their shops and homes. Then he told all the people to take off their hats and bow to his hat
The ruler went away and left his hat behind on a pole. Some soldiers stood there. After that day people began to take off their hats and bow to the ruler's hat as they passed by the pole
One day Tell passed by but he did not bow to the hat. The Soldiers brounght him to the ruler
