How to spend the ‘HOLY DAYS’
In India, 45 years before Buddhist Era, three aspects met: the LordBuddha, his teachings and his disciples. This moment happened in the eighth month, called ’Asarnha’,and‘Bucha’ means ‘to pay respect’. That is where the name Asarnha Bucha comes from. There are other countries that celebrate Asarnha Bucha Day, but not on the same day as in Thailand, because the time depends on the location. Asarnha Bucha Day comes on the fifteenth day of the waxing moon of the eighth lunar month.
