Dear Khun Ying
I reiterate that subsequent triggering of a number of different alarms caused by subsequent defects (false alarms) on all those sensors located at various positions throughout my villa is highly unlikely to nearly impossible.
The pattern of the alarms (= their location) rather pointed in the direction of somebody (or something ?) taking a walk through my villa from one level to another.
The acoustic alarm shuts off after 5 minutes, that is normal.
But then a defct sensor would have caused THE SAME alarm after that, not a different one each time.
As happened once with a sensor in my guest house a few months ago, remember ?
I know that the security guards located at the guardhouse near my front gate/door say that they did not see anybody.
Because after returning from my lunch I asked them about it myself.
But I do not consider that as solid proof that nobody was inside.
We should also consider the fact that construction works are ongoing at Villa 12 (at least I suppose, given the number of cars parked outside that villa each day), from which it is not difficult to get access to my villa unseen.
And we should keep in mind also that we have a large amount of workers coming and going from the neighboring Villa 0 construction site, which has sowieso created a higher level of vulnerability at villa 13.
Not to speak of a few obscure individuals I saw/see roaming around in the ruins of what was known before as "villa" 2.
So my villa is "surrounded" by potential suspects.
Finally my villa was broken into at least 3 times in the past (one time with serious theft, and the thiefs were in our bedroom while my wife and I were sleeping so we could have been killed), and in none of those 3 cases the security guards saw anything, or so they claimed.
In all fariness : it were different security companies that time.
NOW I HAVE TO REPORT THAT MY VILLA IS RECENTLY BEING INFESTED BY A NUMBER OF (STRAY ?) CATS !
The installers of my security system have assured me that cats and dogs cannot trigger the type of alarm sensors which they installed.
But perhaps that is not 100 % fail safe.
CAN YOU DO ANYTHING ABOUT THOSE DAMNED CATS ?
I thought of buying an air gun and shoot the bloody creatures, but I do not know it that is so easy.
Any good suggestion is welcome (gassing them, put traps,...).
In any case, the company which installed my alarm system will come over to my villa this afternoon for a service and diagnostic inspection.
I wil now also install install some cameras in key areas around the property, for which the cabling was already installed.
Safety and security has always been very high in my list of priorities, and I take this very seriously.
