only 10% reported that they were symptoms-free. Headache was the most frequently reported health effect (33.75%). Others include chronic fatigue (10.5%), skin irritation (8.75%), eye irritation (6.25%), and itching (5.5%). Table 6 shows the mean heavy metal concentrations (mg/mL) in the urine samples of paint workers and nonpaint workers. The results show statistically significant (p < 0.05) increases in urine concentrations of lead, cadmium, arsenic, and chromium among paint workers compared to nonpaint workers.
