The high-voltage electrolytic capacitor mounted on the printed circuit board, PCB7 (Part No.: P30099M00), supply stable direct current to the inverter circuit in order to stabilize the operation of the machine. Electrolyte leaks out of an electrolytic capacitor due to aged deterioration, resulting in low capacity. For this reason, an electrolytic capacitor has limited life as in lead batteries.
In order for this welding power source to fully deliver its performance, we recommend replacement of the printed circuit board, PCB7 approx. every 5 years. Use of the printed circuit board for a long period of time without replacement may prevent the welding power source from fully delivering its performance or cause damage to the high-voltage electrolytic capacitor or other parts.
