ooo i love the debate about draco's character. my first reading of the books i hated him with every inch of my being; do you remember the fiendfyre part in the last book/8th movie? i remember reading it and literally screaming for harry to look draco in the eye and then just fly away. two years later i re-read the books and as i closed the cover of the 6th book i started to realise something terrible. to me, draco is the real, most relatable character i've ever read. he is just like everyone and he is just like me and that's the real reason i hated him so much. real people are susceptible to corruption, to hatred, to cowardice, to fear and to love.
