Because no solvent is used,the CAB content in the final material is limited to 0.4 g per g of carbonate monomer.From the Synthesis conditions,the CAB network is first formed.The kinetic studies carried out by FTIR spectroscopy confirm this result. In the studied composition rage i.e. from 0.1 to 0.4g CAB per g of CR39, the CAB could be cross-linked in order to obtain a transparent material.Indeed, the Seni-IPNs are opaque for all compositions and on another hand all IPNs are transparent in the same composition range. Nevertheless the storage moduli of IPNs are hardly changed when the CAB content increase but the damping properties are improved as well as UV and chemical resistance.
