Mobile devices are used by consumers
throughout the purchase cycle: over 50% of
smartphone users research products before
entering a store and 36% use their phones in
retail stores, The use of mobiie devices to actualiy purchase products oniine (as opposed to just
shopping and browsing oniine) is also growing
commensurateiy. U.S. mobile commerce grew
by more than 55% to $39 biilion in 2013, and
is expected to grow to around $110 biliion by
2017.
