Write names for research on slips of paper. (Examples are listed below.) Each student group (3-4 students per group) will draw a name from a hat. The group will decide on a source and research that individual. Students should use the information gathered to write a paragraph; the paragraph should include clues about the identity of the person. A spokesperson for each group will read the paragraph and the rest of the class will guess the identity. The names listed below are suggestions; the teacher should select the persons to research based on classroom instruction and name recognition.
