Cultural superstitions are apart of us from the day we are born. Our families surround us with good luck charms, whether it be statues of roosters in the home, a prayer above the entrance to our home or making the sign of the cross as we pass a church or bowing to a spirit house or temple.
Superstitions can affect people’s decisions in all parts of life. Marriage, finances, where you live, whether you like someone or find them offensive.
Especially in business dealings we need to be aware and conscious of other people’s cultural superstitions in order to better understand them.
