I studied international relations at Yonsei University and its graduate school. I further studied world politics in the United States, participating in some long-term academic classes and for about six years, during which I worked as a reporter as well as an editor for a few local weekly magazines in northeastern U.S.A.
I undertook courses of PhD in international relations. Currently, I am working for major English newspapers published in the Asian capitals, contributing stories "largely" on the developments in Northeast Asia. I am also an honorary editor-in-chief of a leading English daily in Seoul, where I worked as a reporter, editor, editor-in-chief for 25 years.
I am giving irregular, special lectures at a graduate school of a famed women's university in Seoul.
I like some kinds of sports as well as classical and screen music, in addition to the mountain-climbing.
Looking forward to hearing "good news" from you, I will close here. Bye now.
Sincerely yours,
June Kim
