Conclusion and Implications for Future Research
In conclusion, HR of referees during the matches in the Amateur league is not
dependent on anaerobic threshold HR. Moreover, anaerobic running speed is not by
itself sufficient to determine the total distance moved during the match.
This study is limited to referees working in the professional matches and
contributes to training programs planned for the improvement of referees’ work.
Referees’ gaining the habit of scientific training performance, for example using a
heart rate monitor during the training to determine the severity is recommended.
