IT Operations (including Service Centre) staff are responsible for creating Active Directory (AD) user accounts. It is critical that accounts are created in accordance with company policy and following directive from Human Resources. Accounts must be disabled or removed as soon as they are no longer needed, as active accounts allow access to the company's network and data.
This document describes the administration of the AD accounts and the related IT tasks for setting up mailboxes (email access) and personal network folders.
Active Directory account details are classified as “Internal” (For use by CBRE employees for appropriate internal use only.)
