In our work, it seems that the nanorod growth rate variations are
due to a substrate effect; so that with decrease of seed layer thickness,
the substrate becomes more effective on the growth of nanorods and
taller nanorods (1052 nm) will growon a thinner seed layer (20 nm).
The exact role of the seed layer and substrate in growth rate of
nanorods is still a challenging issue for the researchers and our
team is working on it.
