and Avicelase activities remained roughly steady throughout the
fermentation, which indicated that the exoglucanase enzyme production
was associated with protein secretion (Fig. 3). However, the
specific CMCase activity increased up to 36 h (with 10% v/v of inoculum)
and 48 h (with 5% v/v of inoculum) and displayed an increased
proportion of endoglucanase with respect to the total amount of
proteins that were produced.
