We stayed for 8 nights ,we requested the limo transfer once through customs had to search for the pickup point there are several pickup points which we where not made aware of , once we did manage to locate the pickup point we were asked to wait for about 10mins as the person in charge was also waiting for guests for another hotel, this was not very professional.
Once escorted to the limo it was clear we had made a great choice and an enjoyable journey to the hotel ,upon arrival we were greated as you would expect from a 5 star hotel & with pleasant smiles told we were given an upgrade on the limo from the airport to the class of mercedes above the one we had booked . Check in was quick & efficient and the lobby area was of a high standard we had requested a high floor and were given a room on the 20th floor with a great city view, we were also given a welcome drink which we were told was a traditional thai beverage. We then quickly inspected the room on first apparence the room was of high standard then on closer inspection we started to find some small issues with the room the man hole over the bath was not properly in place there was also water marks around the cover & plaster was in the bath the shower was making that high pitch water noise when hot water was running the door was scraping on the floor the flat panel tv was not receiving any channels .We then requested another room, first we were told the hotel was of high occupancy then 5 mins later were given an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite on the 23 floor with the same view which was great, no issues in this room .
Breakfast was great value plenty of selection.
Great gym although one staff member was not very consistent, although i just suspected a bit lazy we requested bottled water and were told there was none left when i knew all she needed to do was pick up the phone and request some from house keeping, which my partner requested she do 5mins later she appeared with the bottled water and many apologies.
