As per ad hoc inspection yesterday, please find attached some photos (not all photos taken are shown as I accidentally deleted some on the mobile) and below details for your immediate actions.
1. Details of inspection
a. Organic farm – water hose was on the floor, not neatly kept. Many empty beds of soil with no vegetables growing? Please ensure that a schedule of vegetables growing is constant in order to provide a nice viewing for guests and that the place is well kept at all times.
b. Water Hose – As we walked around the gardens, water hoses were not neatly kept and may of the garden grounds need cleaning, many dried leaves.
c. Rubbish – Small little ones are all over the hotel.
d. Garden Staff talking on mobile phone? – Please issue written warning accordingly.
e. Chief Engineer playing facebook, listening to music – Please issue written warning accordingly.
f. I asked you what was the occupancy of the hotel yesterday you told me 40 + rooms (61% ++) ? However your report shows 56.92%?
After short observance of your operations, it is obvious you lack management skills in managing your hotel and staff and you failed your duty as Hotel Manager to upkeep the hotel in its best condition. More “heart” should be put into your daily job. Prior to my inspection, I am sure K. Nuch has already warned you previously about your performance as HM. I do hope after this you will really work harder in order to lead your team in a better direction for the hotel. As a Hotel Manager you should have control of everything in the hotel as well you should know all information accurately, including your occupancy %.
Therefore on behalf of TCCSL office, I would need to give you a verbal warning with regards to job performance. However, if you already have a prior warning on the same subject, this warning should be a written one following the proper steps of warning system. (K. Mayuree please check.)
