To the best of our knowledge, only two previous studies (Bilenkoet al., 2013; Clark et al., 2012) have reported on the association between traffic-related air pollution and BP in children, after accounting for road-traffic noise. But no constant results were reported. Clark et al. (2012) explored association between NO2atschool and BP in 276 children aged 9–10 years, taking noise expo-sure at school as adjustment, and no statistical associations were reported. Bilenko et al. (2013) recently reported a positive association between diastolic BP and long-term NO2in children who did not change address since birth. This study was conducted among1400 children aged 12-year, diastolic BP was found to increase0.83 mmHg with every 7.8 g/m3increase in NO2. No association was found between noise exposure and BP.
