Other NoSQL models are even less of a fit for the relationship workload
due to their lack of support for relationships in the model itself. Their cost is
exacerbated with deep levels of a graph. Think friends of friends of friends
of friends. Dealing with these exponentially expanding limitations in other
NoSQL models will cause you to accept functionality limitations. Many of
these systems try to maintain the appearance of graph-like processing, but
inevitably it’s done in batches and is not real-time.
