Once in a forest lived a gorilla named Gorilla, and he loved bananas. He ate bananas all day and all night. He planned to marry a banana tree. He simply adored bananas so much; he never listened to his mum. One day, he ate a banana, and his mum came and said, “I'm worried about you."
"Why?" asked Gorilla through a mouthful of banana.
"A magic banana tree is on top of Mount Coconut, and I don't want you turned into something."
But Gorilla wasn't listening. A magic banana tree! Wow! He thought. But he soon forgot about it.
One day he was walking in the forest looking for a banana tree. He climbed a tree to look. There, on top of Mount Coconut, was the most beautiful banana tree he had ever seen. The bananas were huge and a gold-yellow colour. He was amazed to know that something so beautiful existed.
‘I will climb to the top of Mount Coconut and eat all of those lovely bananas! They're such beauties!’ Gorilla climbed and climbed up the cliff. He got to the top.
‘Why didn't anyone put stairs here?’ he panted. He went to the tree and ate the first banana he touched. The moment he swallowed it he turned into a duck. ‘Aagh! Help! I'm hideous!’ he cried. He took another banana and turned into a frog. He kept taking bananas. Bird, Dog, Cat, Mouse, Bug, Crocodile...
A day later, he finally regained his proper form. He went home and chopped down his banana tree.
"Gorilla! It's time for supper!" called his mum. He went and looked at his bowl. It was full of sugary, yummy, custard-like banana mash. He ran around the table, grabbing everyone's bowls, and he threw them out of the window.
"I HATE BANANAS!!!" he screamed.
The End.
