The university's centre forecasts that overall exports are likely to stay at about 3.88% or $233.38 billion in 2014, whereas the TNSC projects shipments to grow 5% this year to around $240.3 billion.
However, the TNSC cautioned that prolonged political conflict and the possibility of factory relocations as a result of the escalating conflict may cut this year's shipments by 1%.
The baht was projected to stay within a range of 32.07 to 34.24 baht to the US dollar, the lowest in five years.
