Thailand, being one of the developing countries, still lack specialists and information concerning issues regardingthe environment. By having Pimpassorn as a representation from Thailand, she will form regional ties by having anintellectual conversation with a diverse student body. This will surely alter the way she tackle problems and expandher mindset and awareness in various fields, such as new rules and regulations, environmental movement or evenpolitic in different nations. By socializing with delegates, she would get to understand both “big picture”, andconversely the small details in each issue and solution. This will benefit the society in expanding the vastknowledge, while raising awareness and concerns about the environment conflicts in Thailand. In turn, this can bea potential preparation in putting more collaboration between ASEAN members in the near future as everyone willget to share their expertise and knowledge. I truly believe that working together will produce a more fruitful resultjust like this African proverb “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”
