Dirty water is a health risk for the world's largest and continues to threaten both people's health and quality of life in the United States. When water from rain and melting snow from the roof and closed all the roads into rivers, it's a handful of chemical impurities that are poisonous. Many of our water sources, lack of basic protection, making them vulnerable to pollution from factory farms, Industrial plants, and activities such as fracking. This can lead to water contamination on digestion and beaches closed. NRDC works to protect our waters from pollution by:
- Drawing on the exist to protect the cleanliness of the water show and working to ensure that the pollution control programs of the law applies to all major water sources, including the stream water and wetlands, which provide drinking water, 117 million Americans;
- Improving prevention, to reduce pollution, such as bacteria and viruses that threaten Americans ' health and well-being, and to limit the pollution problem of the space-on, such as the source of the water that runs off
and sewage.
