Conceptual knowledge assets
Conceptual knowledge assets consist of explicit knowledge articulated through images, symbols and language. They are the assets based on the concepts held by customers and members of the organisation. Brand equity, which is perceived by customers, and concepts or designs, which are perceived by the members of the organisation, are examples of conceptual knowledge assets. Since they have tangible forms, conceptual knowledge assets are easier to grasp than experiential knowledge assets, though it is still difficult to grasp what customers and organisational members perceive.
