5.3. Common method bias
Following the suggestion of (Podsakoff & Organ, 1986), Harmon’s one-factor test was run to ensure that common method
variance did not account for our findings. Unrotated principal components analysis revealed six factors with eigenvalues greater than 1, which accounted for 73.7% of the total variance. The first factor did not account for the majority of the variance (23.2%). As no single factor emerged that accounted for most of the variance, common method bias does not appear to be a problem in the study.
