Forces and motion
A force can be a push or a pull.
Many actions such as stretching a rubber band or kicking a ball, involve pulls or pushes.
We cannot see a force.
However,we know that it exists because we can observe its effects.
Motion is a change in position of an object with time in relation to a stationary object.
If you are standing near a road, you are stationary.
A car moving on the road is in motion with respect to you.
If the position of an object is not changing with time with respect to a stationary object, it is said to be at rest.
