Using the new construction problem, the case-base was
searched for similar problems. At the time of the case study, the
case-base contained about 300 cases. Each of the stored cases consists
of building components and the associated construction processes
in the form of tasks with constraints. All stored case
problems are compared with the new request. The comparison is
provided between two sets of objects. In the first step, included
components are compared to each other in succession based on
the type of component (column, wall, etc...), e.g., Fig. 14. The
weighting of the common (a) and different (b, c) components is
determined by the weights {a, b, c} = {0.7; 0.2; 0.1}. The structural
similarity is calculated using Formula (2).
All components with the same type of component are further
considered in the calculation of the content similarity. Using Formula
(8), content similarity measures for the attributes of material and geometry are first calculated separately and then combined for the content similarity.
