Took my feince to see this movie and actually turned out to be better than I thought. Not just a romance movie but a hilarious one as well. I am a very spiritual person and this movie displayed a lot of things that people now days don't see or understand (Thanks to our manipulative governments that suppressed us all) because we all have lost touch of the ability to connect with our high consciousness to enable our spirits to go from the physical and travel among our past memories. Great Movie!!!About Time. I really liked this movie a lot. I found it easy to cooperate with the director and suspend reality for a couple of hours and to reflect on my own choices in life and whether I'd redo them given the chance. That's always worth thinking about.
Tim's revelation isn't so much how to use his time travel ability to its fullest, but how to live his life so that he has no desire to. Mary seems to already know.
An allusion to the "butterfly effect" of unintended consequences was handled interestingly. Time travel is treated as a family quirk, a private and sometimes useful -- though dangerous -- power to be employed on a small scale. Though, clearly, the small scale is shown to be a most important scale.
I have no desire to ponder social or class justice in a movie like this -- the desire to have a movie somehow reflect any given person's paradigm of life is silly. The job was to engagingly tell a story without a lot of distractions that detract from the message(s). Well done.
Warm, witty, fun and thought provoking too: a thoughtful romantic comedy. I'll see it again.
