I kind of enjoy school throughout the years! I'm currently in my final year of university and I realized that I learned most from the advanced courses. I would say it is the steep learning curve that most people hate. For example in my first 2 years of uni, I really didn't know what I studied all those superfluous stuffs such as 'creative thinking', 'technology and world change', and 'business, government and society' for. But when I take the more advanced modules, all the previously seemed-to-be useless information just fall into place. You kind of need all the basics and background information before everything clicks together. Think of Steve Jobs' message: 'you can only connect the dots backwards'. My high-school provided good foundation for my university, as did my first 2 years modules for my last few. And I'm sure that in the future at the workplace those textbook information that we all hate to read will come into use (we'll never know)
