Here’s how to play the game. Divide the students into teams of no more than four or five students . Then, select a question to read aloud. Give teams ample time to discuss their answer (all teams should have an opportunity to answer the question). Select one person from each team to be the the first person to record his or her team’s response. (students should take turns doing this.) When teammates have agreed upon an answer and are ready to have it checked, everyone should raise their hand so you will know they are in agreement. Ask them to show their answer. Each team that correctly answers the question the first time earns two points. If a team has an incorrect answer, allow them time to re-confer to change it. If they are able to correct the answer, they earn one point.
