Further to our recent discussion, I wish to apologise for the delays in finalising your order
SCU15/024 for GSRe Masks for the Chemical Department of Royal Army contract 35/58 dated
June 19, 2015.
The licence for the Chemical Department was declined by the United Kingdom Export Control
under the advice of the Foreign Commonwealth Office. Scott Safety have had several discussions
with the department over the last several months to address the situation and provide further
clarification.
We have advised the Export Control the GSRes is a specialist mask required to support CBRN and
humanitarian efforts in Thailand and the ASEAN region.
We have met and spoken with Export Control again this week to expedite the issue and they have
requested that we submit a new application to give us a better opportunity of having the order the
cleared.
In order to submit a licence application we need to provide a revised EUU from the Chemical
Department. The revised EUU needs to have a recent date. The information on the EUU remains the
same.
We apologise again for the delays and the frustration this has caused to Phol Dhanya, Sunmonn Ray
Corporation and the Chemical Department of the Royal Thai Army
Yours Faithfully
