the probability of trapped excitation moving electrons beyond primary quinone electron acceptors of PSII QA (1–VJ) and the ratio of (1–VI)/(1–VJ) which express the efficiency with which an electron from the intersystem electron carriers moves to
electron acceptors in the reduced end at the PSI acceptor side,
decreased with increasing drought intensity, and this
decrease was more pronounced in 100% light compared
to 60 and 25% sunlight (Fig. 4-A, C and E). However, (in
Fig. 4-B, D and F) when leaf RWCs were >75%, Fv/Fm, (1–VJ)
and (1–VI)/(1–VJ) showed little differences under these
three light conditions among leaves with identical RWCs
(Fig. 4-B, D and F).
