Welcome to the InsideOut Coaching Online Resource. Here, you’ll find powerful tools and other content to reinforce what you learn and help you apply an effective coaching strategy back on the job.
Let's get started with the Coaching Snapshot.
This brief feedback tool will help you learn more about your current coaching effectiveness, as well as understand how your perceptions compare to those of other people.
The process consists of two steps, which you will complete on the following screens:
•Choose people to give you feedback: Choose from among managers and direct reports (or others who have direct experience with you as a coach), who will evaluate your coaching effectiveness.
•Request Feedback Answer the questions about your coaching effectiveness from your own perspective.
Hints for getting most out of the Coaching Snapshot:
•You can choose up to ten "others" to give you feedback. Typically, the "others" would be direct reports. If you have fewer than three direct reports, or if you are an informal leader, you can also choose from among your peers or others who have direct experience with you as a coach (for example, project-team members). If you have more than 10 direct reports, choose from those who can give you the most honest, most accurate feedback.
•You must have at least three "others" respond before a report will be generated (this protects the anonymity of your feedback givers).
•Collect the email addresses for all your feedback givers before moving on to the next step.
•Adding your respondents and completing the questions will take about 15 minutes.
•Please print out your report and bring it with you to your InsideOut Coaching program
