The papery structured flower and their low moisture content
affect the drying rate (Safeena and Patil, 2013).The moisture
content in dried flower influenced the longevity and
ultimately their quality as it was observed that the moisture
content is inversely proportional to longevity (Pandey 2002).
As there is not much data available on the matter, the present
work is formulated to evaluate the effect of texture and
moisture content on drying rate of different flowers.
