A user’s commitment to social media means that he or she frequently participates in interacting through social media. Because social media has been a powerful information source [25], one with higher social media commitment can receive an amount of information that can be considered as evidence or knowledge when he or she needs to make a decision. That is to say, social media commitment brings more opportunities to obtain information or knowledge, and thereby users with a high level of social media commitment are more likely to get informational social influence.
