The concept of employer branding has become one of the most significant developments in recent times, and for some companies its importance has been recognized since the early 1990s. Simon Borrow is acknowledged as the creator of the term “employer brand” as early as 1990 (Thorne K., 2004). Ambler and Barrow (1996) defined employer branding as the package of functional, economic and psychological benefits provided by employment, and identified with the employing company.
