Thirty nanometers-sized silica particles are achieved for 0.22 M TEOS at 20 °C with the mass fraction equal to 1.32%, which is 3.14 times of the highest results reported [18]. In addition, the 7.45% solid content of resulting suspension for 1.24 M TEOS at 5 °C is about 1.85 times of maximum results of Wang et al. [18]. Table 2 presents the comparison on mass fraction between our work and the highest results reported.
