Celebrated on January 6th, the Three Kings Day, also known as the Epiphany, finds its roots in the Gospel of Matthew. Here, the story goes that the Three Wise Men made their way from the East all the way to Bethlehem in order to visit and bring gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to the baby Jesus. Nowadays, this day is filled to the brim with festivities, as kids receive their own gifts from the Kings: Balthazar, Melchior and Gaspar.
